Hacktivist community Anonymous, who sport Guy Fawkes masks in public, and are well known for a series of hijacks on government, religious, and corporate websites are claiming to have stolen secret missile documents from North Korea.
“We will no longer put up with your threats towards world peace and the Republic of Korea,” the South Korean hackers said in a press release late on Wednesday evening, a copy of which was also posted on YouTube. The group are claiming to have the power to access North Korea’s internal intranet system, and has posted screenshots on Twitter as ‘proof’.
The truth of these claims remains to be seen, as the documents are set to hit the web on June 25.
