Marvel Comics paid homage to some of hip hop’s well-received albums last month, casting superheroes over an array of classic cover-art. Understandably, fans lost their shit—promoting Marvel to unleash a new batch of genius collaborations.

“For years, Marvel Comics and hip-hop culture have been engaged in an ongoing dialog,” says Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso. The Marvel x hip-hop variants will grace the covers of  hardcopy Marvel comics in October.
