Finally, the world has its first virtual reality gaming centre. And it’s in Melbourne, of course. Starting off through a Pozible campaign a couple of years ago, Zero Latency is now in full swing at its North Melbourne premises. The multiplayer experience will let you and up to six of your mates run around an empty room measuring about 400 square metres, equipped with VR goggles, backpack and rifle, killing zombies and trying not to freak the hell out. The gaming technology looks pretty awesome, rendering a fully-immersive environment and allowing up to 50 minutes of apocalyptic game-time.

Unfortunately there is no spectator area, which might prove just as entertaining as playing the game yourself. Check out the promo video above to get an idea of what you’re in for. For more info, head to Zero Latency online and make sure to book ahead because this one is sure to be in high demand for a long time.
