A new photo floating around the internets, seemingly taken with an early Motorola flip-phone, seems to depict what could potentially be the leaked packaging of the iPhone 6s Plus. It certainly looks like a standard white iPhone box with some new branding, but critics are calling into question the thinner material of the packaging and the unfamiliar black and gold fish wallpaper.

The website that leaked the images, cnBeta, say that both the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s plus battery capacity will be reduced, but it’s rumoured that the battery efficiency will be increased in these models to make up for that. At the moment Mac Rumors reports that expected features for the 6s will include an A9 processor, 2GB RAM, improved 12-megapixel camera, less bendable 7000 Series aluminum shell, Force Touch capabilities, improved Touch ID, and gold, rose gold, silver, and space gray colors. Apple is likely to announce the long-rumoured iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus at a September 9 event. Check the gallery above for the packaging, along with a few images of alleged leaks so far.
