It’s been a couple of years since Quentin Tarantino unleashed his last epic film Django Unchained, and after mentioning he was was making another Western, the acclaimed director has finally revealed the first trailer of new film, The Hateful Eight. The film stars recurring lord Samuel L. Jackson, alongside Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and more.

While it’s not a totally unexpected premise for Tarantino—post-Civil War America, bunch of dudes with a thirst for blood and money, and Jackson’s general badassness—there’s no arguing that his formula is a winning one. The Hateful Eight is slated for limited release on Christmas Day (which should prove to be a popular family activity) and wider distribution from January 8 2016. Check out the trailer above.
