The Night Before explores a yearly Christmas Eve tradition Ethan (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Isaac (Seth Rogen) and Chris (Anthony Mackie) have been partaking in since the death of the Ethan’s parents. Finally reaching a point of impending, legitimate adulthood, the guys commit to one last night of drug-fuelled debauchery, setting out to find the best Christmas party of all time—the Nutcracka Ball.

Considering the trailer starts off with the guys playing Kanye West’s ‘Runaway’ on a giant keyboard a la Tom Hanks’s character in Big, and the first real bit is a dick joke, you can likely chalk this up as another solid entry into the stoner comedy canon. Lizzy Caplan and Mindy Kaling will also star (and probably James Franco at some point), and the film is due to bring Christmas a whole month early, with a November 25 release.
