There’s no questioning that A$AP Rocky has the full attention of all hip hop and music lovers right now, 2012 is his year and God damn if he hasn’t been cashing in on it. Still riding the $3 million wave RCA caused when him and his crew inked a deal with them in late 2011, A$AP has been touring heavily, released a capsule collection with his favorite brand Black Scale and even turned down a spot on XXL Freshmen list, all adding to the hype surrounding the Harlem collective.

Now with the music industry’s gaze is solely on Coachella, A$AP was set to prove thenselves on one of live music’s biggest festival stages. Luckily for the rest of us who couldn’t make it the full set was recorded and available to view from the comfort of our own home. I don’t think it’s quite the same as being there, but the frenzy and energy captured is evidence that the A$AP train is going to keep on rolling for a little while longer.

Let’s just hope when his album drops in July it’s just as good as his near-flawless LiveLoveA$AP, you know how the hype machine loves to tear shit down if it doesn’t meet expectations, and for better or worse Rocky set the bar pretty high last year….
