Summer is just around the corner and you know what that means? ACCLAIM magazine summer interns! Yew. Yes, we’re looking for some editorial interns to help out at our Melbourne-based office. Do you have what it takes? Well, let’s talk about it…

Successful applicants will possess the following attributes:
-be hard working
with strong attention to detail
-be reliable and consistent, no half-steppers please
-have strong writing abilities
-be quick learners
-be focused and take their work seriously
-have an interest in the kind of content ACCLAIM covers
-Have your own laptop
-be able to commit at least 1-2 full days per week

Duties will include:
-Writing interview questions
-Formatting articles
-Creating blogs and uploading
-Aggregating posts to our social networks
-Transcribing interviews
-Researching features and web content
-General office duties
-Some help with events

Specifically we’re looking for interns to specialize in certain areas. So if you have a strong interest or expertise in one of the following topics, please let us know in your application…

-Style (particularly menswear)
-Art/Graffiti/design
-Skate
-Music (specifically rap, hip-hop and electronic)
