ACCLAIM Magazine and acclaimmag.com are, once again, on the lookout for editorial champs to join our current intern roster.

You’ll be working from the ACCLAIM office in Melbourne, one day a week, writing online content for our blog. And if you’re really on your game, you’ll get a shot at interviews and feature articles as well. We know you’re probably already on top of this but the main topics ACCLAIM covers are style, music, arts and pop culture.

Internships will initially run for three months, with possibility of extension, pending performance. So if you want to see your name in lights (or, at least, on our site) check the criteria below and, if you think you’ve got what it takes, HIT US UP.

Successful applicants will:

— have strong written communication skills
— have an interest in (and knowledge of) the topics that ACCLAIM writes about
— be hard-working with strong attention to detail
— be reliable and consistent (no half-steppers please)
— be quick learners
— be focused and take their work seriously
— have their own laptop.

Applicants will be looked upon particularly favourably if they are familiar with Adobe Photoshop.

Duties include:

— working on content for the ACCLAIM blog
— some copy editing
— some image editing
— researching interview questions
— transcribing interview audio
— taking on interview opportunities (if you’re really capable!)
