Drake has revealed on Twitter that the release date for his upcoming album Nothing Was The Same, initially set for September 17 , has been pushed back til September 24.

So because we have to wait longer he’s at least letting us see the album artwork. There are two covers, one probably for a deluxe edition, both hyper-realist paintings of Drake with his head in the clouds. One appears to be baby Drake, with gold comb stuck in his ‘fro, the other is adult Drake, with very neatly shaped facial hair and smooth crew cut. So they’re representative of… an evolution in style?

If we’re talking evolution here, then teen Drake is nowhere to be seen.  For those of you that aren’t aware, teen Drake was none other than Jimmy Brooks from Canadian teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation – so I’ve included a picture of that for good measure.
