What is unique about your local music scene?
There is some really good stuff around. There are a handful of promoters with some moxxy, taking risks and putting on real interesting stuff. And a lot of bands really pushing it and doing what they like. It feels pretty DIY and everybody supports one another and responds to people going out on a limb.

We like jumping between styles and trying out different things.

Tell us a little about this release.
We love experimenting with different vocal styles, gear, genres and that kind of thing. We decided to really go with it on this one by giving each other complete freedom to do what we want.
What inspired the artwork for this track?
The EP artwork was shot by Melissa Cowan. Han was into nail art and wanted an excuse to get her nails done.
What else are you working on at the moment?
Thighs and abs. Also there’s a curry on the stove at the moment it’s not quite right yet but it’s getting there.
Do you have any shows coming up?
Our EP launch is July 4 at Boney in Melbourne.
