With Future‘s Dirty Sprite 2 just around the corner, the alien from Atlanta is releasing a segmented documentary, Like I Never Left. In the first instalment, Future is increasingly candid about his relationship with the mother of his child, Ciara, and how distance began to grow between them.

“I had already said we were going to get married, and she was trying to be like ‘we need to rush the date and go in and do it’ and I’m like, ‘Man, I’m not finna get married… I wanna marry you, but I can’t have no big wedding on E News, I can’t have all the motherfucking, all these different big media outlets cover my wedding…I’m not even comfortable with the people here. I’m not comfortable about where I’m at in my career, I’m not comfortable about compromising the person that I am.”

To make matters worse, the rapper appeared on HuffPost Live to chat about his upcoming projects and had some choice words when he was questioned about his ex’s decision to abstain from sex with her current boo Russell Wilson.

“God didn’t tell me [to wait]…We prayed afterwards, though. That’s a true story.”

Classy. Not surprisingly, his candour invoked a response from Ciara, who directed a couple of faux-cryptic tweets Future’s way. Screen Shot 2015-07-15 at 4.01.11 PM

Instead of responding publicly, Future has simply unleashed the next instalment of his documentary. Episode two sees him recording at Noah ’40’ Shebib’s studio in Toronto, and talking about his impressive trifecta of recent albums. Watch both documentary instalments above and brace yourself for one of the biggest albums of the year.
