Since dropping his studio album We The Plug on his HS87 imprint last year, Hit-Boy has apparently been looking at alternative approaches to releasing music and building hype. His latest output, these two back to back singles with accompanying visuals, is a pretty great idea (and guarantees that his name is going to be, yet again, a self-fulfilling prophesy).

In ‘Automatically’, Hit is strolling in Rae Sremmurd garb around a supermarket, Chinese Restaurant, Pet Store and more picking up babes and goofing with his crew. ‘Show Me Something’ turns it way up when he morphs a beauty salon into a strip club and bank into a party. While there’s not a whole lot more to say about the videos but that’s really because they’re the kind of hip-hop videos that are better to be experienced than to have someone explain them or convey any kind of meaning behind them to you. Besides, as always, the lyrics and production are on point.
Fun fact: the beats are co-produced by Smokey Beatz of NZ. Must be a pretty good feeling when the dude who produced some of the biggest bangers on ‘Ye and Z’s Watch The Throne brings you on board to co-produce his own beats.
