The big Albanian from Flushing has again linked up with the Skinny kid from Williamsburg to put out the second instalment of their Blue Chips mixtape series after months of teasing. Blue Chips 2 follows up their critically acclaimed first project from the start of 2012, and since then Action Bronson’s profile has risen exponentially thanks to his outrageous live performances and signing to Vice/Warner. Regardless, Bronson sticks to the script and continues to deliver the rugged New York raps over obscure, left-field samples only Party Supplies could pull off (and some much more familiar, like Pharcyde’s Passing Me By and Peter Gabriel’s Sledgehammer), this time with little outside MC help aside from the usual suspects Mayhem Lauren and weed carrier Big Body Bes.
