With an album release on the cards for later in the year, super-producer Mike WiLL Made-It has wasted no time dropping the singles that will head-up the effort, first from the LP itself, then from Ransom, the mix-tape set to precede it. ‘Take A Picture,’ the lead single on the latter, sees him team up with fellow Atlantan Young Thug to produce a strangely menacing fusion of sprawling beats and meandering lyrics, covering everything from Hannah Montana to Milky Way bars. The track’s aggressive delivery quickly separates it from the producer’s June release, ‘Buy the World,’ his surprisingly mellow collaboration with musical heavy-weights Kendrick Lamar, Future and Lil Wayne.
