Having recently debuted his latest collaborative effort with Kanye West at a London show in March, fellow Chi-rapper Vic Mensa has unleashed the full studio version of ‘U Mad’ and it knocks harder than you could ever imagine. Sure to be a club favourite, the single is set to appear on Mensa’s highly anticipated debut album and it is clear that Yeezy’s signature sound has influenced the rapper’s new direction. Both rappers handle their own over a heavy bass line and horn-riff that builds to an explosive drop, with ‘U Mad’ sounding familiar production-wise to that of the TNGHT produced ‘Blood On the Leaves’, which featured on Yeezus.

This isn’t the first time the pair have worked together, having recently appeared on Ye’s first single ‘Wolves’ off his upcoming album So Help Me God, and the two obviously have great chemistry.
