The life of a touring musician is often one huge party but it can still get the better of the best of us. UK producer Rustie found himself waking up in hospital a couple of days ago after going too hard and apparently suffering complications from his diabetes. And as scary as the situation must be, the beat maker is making the most of the situation, managing to create a super-uplifting beat, aptly titled ‘160 Hospital Riddim’, direct from his hospital bed and dropping it online for free. It’s really a testament to the times we live in now – where technology allows us to create absolutely anywhere – and the nonstop work ethic and inspiration Rustie obviously possesses.
