Although the character of Tupac recently turned up in LA hip-hop film Straight Outta Compton, a biopic is still yet to be released that focuses solely on the ’90s rap icon.

But all that is about to change, with the trailer for an unauthorised Tupac biopic recently dropping. The film, appropriately titled Until the End of Time, focuses on a student who selects Tupac as the topic for an assignment on famous historical activists, and during his research is led to an old flame of the rapper (played in flashbacks by legit doppleganger Tsalta Baptiste). He’s also chased by the Chinese forces. The plot sounds kind of bizarre, but also undeniably kind of epic.

Comments on YouTube about the trailer are so far ranging from confused to angry with not much in between, but we’re pretty sure this is a troll of epic/cinematic proportions. Watch the trailer in the gallery above, and try not to to get at least a little intrigued by this re-imagining of the Pac narrative.
