Damn you, Monday. Tyler, the Creator’s Australian tour has officially been cancelled.

“Frontier Touring regret to announce the cancellation of the Australian leg of Tyler, The Creator’s Cherry Bomb World Tour which was scheduled to begin next month… Frontier Touring sincerely apologises to all those affected by this cancellation.”

Confirmation from Frontier Touring did not specify a reason for the cancellation, though the tour hasn’t been devoid of drama, with Tyler recently suggesting he was ‘banned’ from our country. Either way, this is sure to be bitterly disappointing to the Tyler hive and full refunds will be issued to all ticket holders.

In the press release, Tyler says, “We would much rather come to Australia when it isn’t surrounded in controversy. I love my fans there and hopefully I’ll be back soon. Don’t do drugs.”

Refunds can be claimed from Ticketmaster for Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney fans; Big Top Luna Park Box Office for Sydney fans who bought directly from the venue; and Oztix in Perth.
