For the third edition of The Process, host Peter Rosenberg talks to rapper Ab-Soul. The segment is intended to give a glimpse into the creative minds of MCs and producers to find out how they go about work, or their ‘process’. Exposed to music and production at an early age owing to his parents’ work at a record store, it’s been a trying journey for Ab-Soul. The young rapper and Black Hippy group member delves into his techniques and style, including topics like the influence of working with Kendrick Lamar, his attempts to emulate Twista, and how his music was affected by the death of Alori Joh.
