Converse have unveiled their inaugural Jack Purcell collection; a new ongoing range of goods from the all-American label dedicated to “modern, crafted and versatile” streetwear.

The debut instalment comes with a spread of sneaker and apparel styles clearly built with references to Converse’s history but taking on a newly-cleaned palette oozing simplicity and sophistication. The four-piece apparel line leans towards a smart-casual aesthetic with preppy pique polo shirts, tees and even a relaxed-fitting blazer. Meanwhile, the similarly clean-cut sneakers take on the iconic low Chuck Taylor silhouette but become modern with a new premium leather construction and detailing. It’s a timeless approach to casual dressing.
