New Balance is taking Chanel head designer, Karl Lagerfeld, to court after claims that his new sneaker design for his self-titled fashion label is knocking off New Balance’s signature sneaker design. The company is arguing that the similarity will confuse consumers, but, with a $270 price difference between the shoes, I would be very surprised if anyone was confused between the two.
