Earlier this year, the man behind OriginalFake released a graphic bearing the name of his brand on a tombstone marked “2006-2013.” It seems the grave prophecy is true as KAWS announced last week that the brand and its retail store was closing up shop.
With a seven year legacy behind him with plenty of heavyweight collaborations that included Supreme, Burton, BAPE, Fragment Design as well as long running partnerships with Medicom Toys and Nexus7, it has been a good run.

All is not lost though, as KAWS hints at a ‘new chapter’ of the brand through future projects. Hit up the online store now to get your hands on some final pieces before OF is gone for good.
