Street level collaborations with luxury brands are low hanging fruit in terms of looking to make fun of something on the internet. Too often they’re poorly done, rushed attempts to cash in on cultural credibility. But as much as I want to take the piss out of this collab between Marc Jacob’s stationery line Bookmarc and graffiti legend KR’s Krink brand, I just can’t bring myself to do it. I don’t know if coveting what it essentially a tricked out Pentel whiteout pen makes me a hypocrite, but that’s where I’m at right now.
