We know how much of a big deal it is to turn 10 – we did it just last year. Spending a decade in any game is kind of a big deal and our friends at Fool’s Gold Records are celebrating with all of us now that they’re turning the big 1-0. How exactly? Firstly, they’re elevating their offering in a big way with the expansion of the must-attend Fool’s Gold Day Off beyond New York to Los Angeles, Atlanta, Montreal, Paris, and London this year. So while FOMO isn’t going to be completely cured (especially for us here in Australia), the label’s fans around the world are more likely to get in on the festival action with key dates being announced next month.

For those who are watching their wallets, Fool’s Gold is honouring its roots and will be launching a series of free club nights as part of their New York’s Loudest events. According to the crew, the parties are not only kind to your hip pocket but to your body clock, capping things off early each night (9pm is before your bedtime right?) and will feature talent from Fool’s Gold and their ever-growing network of musical friends. So if you’re in New York at any point this year, you must flag New York’s Loudest as the spot to be at any given time.

And to top it all off, the team will open a brand new Brooklyn retail store in May. The flagship spot will be stocked with all their label merch and physical music releases, as well as be a hub for their talent and other creative mates. So it’s safe to say that Fool’s Gold stays doing the most and, 10 years on, there seems to be no sign of them slowing down anytime soon.
