Erykah Badu is at it again! She ended 2015 with a massive bang, remixing Drakes ‘Hotline Bling’ and dropping the But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape featuring André 3000. But Badu has proven that she can’t get enough of the recording studio.

Not even two weeks into 2016, and she’s already dropped another awesome remix. It’s only been a few days since Kanye West dropped his new song ‘Real Friends’, and Badu couldn’t stay away, releasing her remix to the song. Mixed with lyrics from Whodini’s ’90s classic, ‘Friends’, the song is titled ‘Trill Friends’.

The spontaneous release came just as much of a surprise to Erykah Badu as it did to the rest of the world, with Badu posting, “really suppose be recording something else…” But we sure are glad her procrastination produced this beauty.
