In a recent (slightly less manic) interview with Zane Lowe, Kanye West spoke of his first apparel collection with adidas, conceding that despite being given the opportunity to finally work on fashion design, the range isn’t exactly what he had in mind. Kanye has spoken very loudly about wanting everyone to have access to his clothes and shoes, even apologising for the fact that currently they were “still in that upper price point and there’s still the words exclusivity being thrown around.”

We already know that the Yeezy 750 Boosts will set you back between $350-$400 and it’s rumoured that other pieces in Yeezy Season 1 are going for anywhere between $800 for a knitted sweater to almost $4000 for a choice piece of outerwear. I don’t know about you but that ain’t chump change – I’d need another personal loan to cop that.

And evidently, one keen fan is already on a similar tip, turning to the ever-popular crowd-funding route to feed his Yeezy addiction. Broke Homie (aka all of us) is pleading his case via GoFundMe, asking other homies (also semi-broke, no doubt) to “put some money together so I can cop some of these fresh “walking dead couture” from Donda’s son”. Ha.

In one day, he’s managed to attract $200 of his $10,000 (what) goal, so it’ll be interesting/hilarious to see if people actually do part with that hard-earned coin to steez Broke Homie out. Want to help the cause? Head here. Or get in touch with me because we could all use a little help sometimes.
