Boston retailer Bodega have tapped British heritage brand Fred Perry for their latest collaboration. The ‘New Establishment’ project includes the release of footwear and accompanying button down shirt and plays on the very punk mantra of challenging the norms but brings in references from 2016. The footwear silhouette is a classic tennis shoe but features an unexpected mix of olive leather in a checkerboard pattern, juxtaposed with a bold leopard print lining. The shirt is a little more subdued but does include references to the modern day go-to medium for voicing outrage—the internet. The Bodega x Fred Perry ‘New Establishment’ collection drops (in very limited numbers) on March 12 online and in-store. Hit Bodega for full release details.
