It’s no surprise that the temperamental job climate in the U.S is shaky at best.

Well, the grass is always greener in Colorado, with the state’s first ever marijuana-industry job fair attracting over 1,200 job seekers. More than a dozen companies were looking for candidates to fill jobs as bud-tenders (those who work behind the counter and dispense pot), marketers, marijuana trimmers and even accountants.

The event was held in the downtown Denver headquarters of cannabis vaporizing device manufacturer O.penVAPE, which organized the fair. O.penVAPE representatives said the event was put on to assist the matching of job seekers with Denver cannabis employers looking for qualified candidates.

Since legalizing recreational marijuana use, Colorado is experiencing an economic boom as companies rush to meet growing demand. In January alone, the first month marijuana’s recreational use was legal, the state reported sales of about $14 million, translating into about $3 million in tax revenue.

The state has also reported a significant spike the sale of Cypress Hill’s Temple of Doom album. And Doritos. Lots of Doritos.
