Dizz1 (aka. Dave Norris) is a Melbourne-based beat maker, DJ, and drummer who has just released his new single ‘What You Want’. The head nodding track features R&B duo Killbot Kindergarten and legendary Detroit MCs Frank Nitt.
Dizz1 mixes heavy drum tracks with classic hip-hop beats to create a sound which is uncommon from Australian musicians–since the first listen I haven’t been able to stop jamming along with the beat.
‘What You Want’ is taken from his debut album, In Sickness & In Health, which has some killer features from Aloe Blacc, Candice Monique, Sadat X and Motely. Dizz1 is currently touring the album across Australia and New Zealand, check below for dates.
